What a change between the sand dunes and Swakopmund, the access point to the Atlantic. Cold breezes and fog on most days. We made a catamaran cruise to a seal colony and watched the oyster farms.
Namibia Desert Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei – our first highlight during out Namibia Trip. We camped at Sesriem, the last camp site before the desert and got up before sunrise to watch the awesome colors between the dunes when the sun rises.

On May 8, 2010, we started our Trip to Namibia. Tanja picked us up at the airport in Windhoek and Beat arrived one day later on Monday morning. Tanja and Beat had arranged the entire trip, starting from route planning to reservations for lodging and eating.
